Warren, Earl

Pronunciation: /ˈwɒrən/
(1891–1974), American judge. As Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (1953–69) he did much to improve civil liberties and is also remembered for heading the Warren Commission (1963–64) into the assassination of President Kennedy.
