Watson, James Dewey

Pronunciation: /ˈwɒts(ə)n/
(B.1928), American biologist. Together with Francis Crick he proposed a model for the structure of the DNA molecule. He shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Crick and Maurice Wilkins in 1962.
