Watson, John Broadus

Pronunciation: /ˈwɒts(ə)n/
(1878–1958), American psychologist, founder of the school of behaviourism. He held that the role of the psychologist was to discern, through observation and experimentation, the innate behaviour and acquired behaviour in an individual.
