Wiener, Norbert

Pronunciation: /ˈwiːnə/
(1894–1964), American mathematician. He is best known for establishing the science of cybernetics in the late 1940s. Wiener made major contributions to the study of stochastic processes, integral equations, harmonic analysis, and related fields.
