Wilson, Charles Thomson Rees

Pronunciation: /ˈwɪls(ə)n/
(1869–1959), Scottish physicist. He is chiefly remembered for inventing the cloud chamber, which became a major tool of particle physicists. Nobel Prize for Physics (1927).
