( B.1953), British Labour statesman, Prime Minister 1997–2007; full name Anthony Charles Lynton Blair. He was elected leader of the Labour Party in 1994. His landslide victory in the election of 1997 gave his party its biggest-ever majority and made him the youngest Prime Minister since Lord Liverpool in 1812.
