Definición de magnetomotive force en inglés:
A quantity representing the sum of the magnetizing forces along a circuit.
- A magnetomotive force may be produced by a permanent magnet or by a wire (preferably, however, by several turns of wire) through which a current of electricity is flowing.
- So, the back-magnetomotive force of the secondary coil opposes the magnetomotive force of the primary coil, compelling it to consume power from the source.
