( 1929–94), US first lady (1961–63); known as Jackie O; born Jacqueline Lee Bouvier. She worked as a photographer before she married John F. Kennedy in 1953. After he was assassinated, she married Aristotle Onassis in 1968 and, after his death, pursued a career in publishing.
