1An intermittent river in the north of Western Sahara. It flows into the Atlantic Ocean west of Laayoune.
1.1The region through which the Saguia el-Hamra flows. A territory of Spain from 1934, it united with Río de Oro in 1958 to become a part of Spanish Sahara.
