Definition of Traherne, Thomas in English:

( 1637–74), English religious writer and metaphysical poet. His major prose work Centuries (1699) was rediscovered in 1896 and republished as Centuries of Meditation (1908). It consists of brief meditations showing his joy in creation and in divine love and is noted for its description of his childhood.
