Yale, Elihu Syllabification: Yale, Elihu

Definition of Yale, Elihu in English:

( 1649–1721), English colonial administrator. He was a large benefactor of the Collegiate School in Saybrook, Connecticut, which was named Yale College in his honor in 1718, after its move to New Haven.
