Borodin, Aleksandr

Pronunciation: /ˌbôrəˈdēn/
(1833–87), Russian composer; full name Aleksandr Porfirevich Borodin. He is noted for the opera Prince Igor, which was completed, after his death, by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Aleksandr Glazunov (1865–1936).
