Bridges, Robert

Pronunciation: /ˈbrijiz/
(1844–1930), English poet and literary critic; poet laureate 1913–30; full name Robert Seymour Bridges. His long philosophical poem, The Testament of Beauty (1929), was written in the Victorian tradition.
