Citlaltépetl

The highest peak in Mexico, in the eastern part of the country, north of Orizaba. It is 18,503 feet (5,699 m) high and is an extinct volcano. Spanish name Pico de Orizaba.

Origin

Aztec, literally 'star mountain'.
