- Forget the trouble and strife (and I know what that's a cockneyism for!) forget the chores and the deadlines, forget that the nose is at the grindstone!
- He only offers that ‘dogs’ are US slang for feet, which doesn't help much as this is clearly a cockneyism.
- She greets them with sweet singsong cockneyisms that bear no resemblance to her smoky Afro-American jazz singing voice.
