A marsupial mouse found in SW Australia. It is very rare and possibly extinct.
- Parantechinus apicalis, family Dasyuridae
- In the early 19th century the dibbler was widely distributed over the southwest of Western Australia.
- This suggests that dibblers are essentially insectivorous dietary generalists and opportunists.
- There are also reintroduced colonies of dibblers on Escape Island and Peniup Nature Reserve.
