Gould, Glenn

Pronunciation: /ɡo͞old/
(1932–82), Canadian pianist and composer; full name Glenn Herbert Gould. Best known for his performances of works by Bach, he retired from the concert platform in 1964 to concentrate on recording and broadcasting.
