(1929–93), US actress; born in Belgium; born Edda Kathleen van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston. After pursuing a career as a stage and movie actress in Britain, she moved to Hollywood. Notable movies: Roman Holiday (1953), Sabrina (1954), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961), and My Fair Lady (1964).
