Jong, Erica

(1942-), US novelist and poet; full name Erica Mann Jong. She is best known for her picaresque novels Fear of Flying (1973), recounting the sexual exploits of heroine Isadora Wing, and Fanny (1980), written in a pseudo-18th-century style.
