Mahabharata

One of the two great Sanskrit epics of the Hindus, existing in its present form since circa ad 400.It describes the civil war waged between the five Pandava brothers and their 100 stepbrothers at Kuruksetra near modern Delhi.

Sanskrit, literally 'great Bharata', i.e., the great epic of the Bharata dynasty.
