Richler, Mordecai

(1931–2001), Canadian writer. One of his best-known novels is The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (1959). Other notable works: The Incomparable Atuk (1963), St. Urbain’s Horseman (1971), and Simon Gursky Was Here (1989).
