Toffler, Alvin

(1928-), US futurist and writer. He first gained popularity with the publication of Future Shock (1970), coauthored with his wife, Heidi Toffler. Their other coauthored works include The Third Wave (1980), Powershift (1991), and Revolutionary Wealth (2006).
