Tracy, Spencer

Pronunciation: /ˈtrāsē/
(1900–67), US actor. He is particularly known for his screen partnership with Katharine Hepburn, with whom he costarred in movies such as Adam’s Rib (1949) and Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? (1967). Other notable movies include Captains Courageous (1937) and Boys' Town (1938).
