A small woodland plant with cloverlike leaves and five-petaled flowers.
  • Genus Oxalis, family Oxalidaceae: several species, including the yellow-flowered creeping yellow wood sorrel (O. stricta) and the purple-flowered violet wood sorrel (O. violacea).
