Definition of Stengel, Casey in English:

( Circa 1890–1975) US baseball player and manager; full name Charles Dillon Stengel. An outfielder 1910–31 and a manager 1931–48 for various minor and major league teams, he managed the New York Yankees 1949–60, guiding them to ten American League pennants and seven World Series. He also managed the New York Mets 1962–65. Baseball Hall of Fame (1966).
