Alcock, Sir John William

Pronunciation: /ˈɔːlkɒk/
(1892–1919), English aviator. Together with Sir Arthur Whitten Brown he made the first non-stop transatlantic flight (16 hours 27 minutes) on 14-15 June 1919.
