Pronunciation: /ˈɔːldrɪn/
(B.1930), American astronaut; born Edwin Eugene Aldrin. In 1969 he took part in the first moon landing, the Apollo 11 mission, becoming the second person to set foot on the moon, after Neil Armstrong.
