Brazzaville

Pronunciation: /ˈbrazəvɪl/
The capital of Congo, a major port; population 1,357,392 (est. 2009). It was founded in 1880 by the French explorer Savorgnan de Brazza (1852–1905) and was capital of French Equatorial Africa from 1910 to 1958.
