Dvořák, Antonín

Pronunciation: /ˈdvɔːʒak/
(1841–1904), Czech composer. Combining folk elements with the Viennese musical tradition, he wrote chamber music, operas, and songs, but is best known for his ninth symphony ( ‘From the New World’, 1892-5).
