Gorno-Altaisk

Pronunciation: /ˌɡɔːnəʊalˈtʌɪsk/
A city in south central Russia, capital of the republic of Gorno-Altai; population 53,100 (est. 2009). It was known as Ulala until 1932 and as Oirot-Tura from 1932 until 1948.
