Lewis, Wyndham

Pronunciation: /ˈluːɪs/
(1882–1957), British novelist, critic, and painter, born in Canada; full name Percy Wyndham Lewis. He was a leader of the Vorticist movement, and with Ezra Pound edited the magazine Blast (1914–15). Notable novels: The Apes of God (1930).
