Ramanujan, Srinivasa Aaiyangar

Pronunciation: /rɑːˈmɑːnʊdʒ(ə)n/
(1887–1920), Indian mathematician. He made a number of original discoveries in number theory, especially, in collaboration with G. H. Hardy (1877–1947), a theorem concerning the partition of numbers into a sum of smaller integers.
