Rambert, Dame Marie

Pronunciation: /ˈrɒmbɛː/
(1888–1982), British ballet dancer, teacher, and director, born in Poland; born Cyvia Rambam. After moving to London in 1917 she formed and directed the Ballet Club, which became known as the Ballet Rambert in 1935.
