Zsigmondy, Richard Adolph

Pronunciation: /ˈʃɪɡmɒndi/
(1865–1929), Austrian-born German chemist. He investigated the properties of various colloidal solutions and invented the ultramicroscope for counting colloidal particles. Nobel Prize for Chemistry (1925).
