Un organismo del gobierno británico, fundado en 1975 y que fomenta la igualdad de oportunidades laborales y educacionales para ambos sexos. También tiene como objetivo asegurar que estos reciban igual salario por un mismo trabajo. Tiene autoridad para hacer cumplir la Sex Discrimination Act y la Equal Pay Act.
