Logging in with a username and password

If you have already registered on the Oxford Dictionaries website, click ‘login’ at the top of the homepage or log in here by typing in your username and password.

If you have a valid subscription to Oxford Dictionaries (or to Oxford Dictionaries Pro), you should be able to log in here or from any page on www.oxforddictionaries.com (the link is in the top right corner). To log in, enter your username (usually your email address) and password.

I’ve forgotten my password / my password doesn’t work

Your password is case-sensitive, so check that you haven’t got CAPS LOCK on. If you’ve forgotten your password, you will be able to retrieve it here. When you click the link, you will need to enter the email address for your account, and a password reset link will be emailed to you. If you don’t receive an email within a few minutes, check your junk or spam mail folder. The password reset link expires after two hours.

I’ve forgotten my username

If you’ve forgotten your username, you will be able to log in using your email address and password. Once you have done this, you will be able to see your username on your account page.
